Welcome to Tettenhall Wood School!

Welcome to Tettenhall Wood School, we are a special school that prides itself on providing an exceptional education for children and young people with a diagnosis of autism and complex learning needs. We are a part of the Amethyst Academies Trust and our vision is that we are a school that is a place of opportunities for all of our children and young people so that they achieve the best of their abilities and making a valued contribution to society. Our school is a vibrant, inclusive community, where we live and breath our values of collective responsibility, high expectations for all, continually promoting independence, learning, reflecting and ensuring each and every child and young person is treated with dignity and respect.

Our dedicated staff team are passionate about providing a wonderful education where we provide opportunities for all of our children and young people to learn and we strive to ensure they achieve their full potential and achieve their goals, both academically and personally. We recognise that every child and young person is unique and we strive to provide a personalised approach that is delivered through our exciting and ambitious curriculum offer. The curriculum is tailored into four pathways and these provide the frameworks that our learners need whatever their prior learning and individual needs are. We offer a range of specialist facilities and resources, including sensory rooms, swimming pool, therapy gym and outdoor learning spaces, to support our learners’ development and wellbeing.

We hope that our website provides you with an insight into our school and the fantastic work that we do. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit.
