Tettenhall Wood School, a proud member of the Amethyst Academies Trust, is seeking two passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Governing Board as voluntary governors. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the governance of a special school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs.
- Play a critical role in realising the school’s ambitions, recognising future opportunities, and tackling challenges.
- Provide appropriate challenge and support to the school’s executive team.
- Contribute to the approval of the school’s mission, strategic vision, key performance indicators, and school improvement priorities.
- Ensure the establishment and monitoring of systems of control and accountability.
- Engage with parents and the local community to ensure the school meets local needs.
We’re Looking For:
- Individuals with a commitment to education and lifelong learning.
- A clear understanding of the importance of safeguarding young people.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in governance, or a strong willingness to learn and contribute.
